1. First of all, welcome to the Bucharest Titans! How excited are you to join the team?
Nick Ladd: Incredibly excited to join the team! A new exciting opportunity to join a young program is always a welcome experience.

2. You’ll be joining the team on September 15th. What are you doing to prepare for this transition, both on and off the field?
Nick Ladd: Preparing for a season is something that can be exciting. To be able to get your body and mind on the same wavelength is very important. I have watched previous games that include all of the teams in Romania. I hope that the preparation will pay off.

3. As an offensive tackle, your role is crucial in protecting the quarterback and opening up lanes for the running backs. How do you approach your position on the field?
Nick Ladd: I approach playing offensive line with the understanding that I need to be an ultimate team player. The only thing that matters for someone in my position is if the team wins. Of course, you want individual success, but I am just a part of a team, and my play reflects that.

4. You’ve played American football at a high level. How do you think your experience in the U.S. will benefit the Titans in Romania?
Nick Ladd: I try and learn and gain something from every place I’ve been. Starting to play football in the United States gave me an amazing bedrock to build upon. Playing in three different countries has also helped me learn as much as possible. I think I can bring an understanding that is unique to the Titans. I’m not just a player who is in it for clout or money but for passion. I hope to pass that mentality on.

5. What attracted you to come play for the Bucharest Titans in Romania?
Nick Ladd: I have become enamored by the different lifestyles of Europe. In that mold, Romania stands in its own atmosphere. I would love to see what Bucharest has to offer. From a football perspective, I’ve had my eye on Romanian football since around 2021. I was lucky enough to meet Silviu, and he invited me to play with the Titans. So, I accepted, and here I am!

6. You’ll be part of the Titans’ offensive line. How do you plan to build chemistry with your new teammates, especially since you’ll be joining them mid-season?
Nick Ladd: Chemistry is the hardest thing to have and build with any group. Up front on the offensive line, we have to have it! I am lucky enough to get to play alongside a fantastic young player in Jasper Lindqvist. He and I have a great rapport, and our chemistry on the field is well-documented. I hope that my personality will help make a quick transition, and I can learn as much as possible about my teammates up front. I hope to hit the ground running, make a good impression, and help lead this group in the right direction.

7. What are your goals for this season, both for yourself and for the Titans as a team?
Nick Ladd: My personal goal is always simple. I want to perform the best I can in all facets. For the team, I have the same expectations. I want to help us perform at the highest level possible.

8. Moving to a new country can be a big adjustment. What are you most looking forward to about living in Romania?
Nick Ladd: I’ve become accustomed to the road, as I’ve been an import in one country or another since 2018. I’ve heard great tales of Romanian hospitality and how fantastic the lifestyle is here, so that will be of great interest while I’m here.

9. Speaking of fans, do you have any message for the Bucharest Titans supporters who are looking forward to your arrival?
Nick Ladd: I’ve never been great at speaking to fans, but I can say this: I will give you as much as I can!

10. Finally, what can we expect to see from you on the field this season?
Nick Ladd: You can expect to see me play as myself! It’s a weird thing to say, but I mean it. I can only be one person, and so I will only act as myself. I hope to show how to play the game the right way while still being a competitive player.
